A mini Bio of
Priceless Gemz
Hi. My name is Victoria Price and I am the Designer and Creator of Priceless Gemz, my hobby.
It all started back in December 2006, I had not long come back from my sisters in Telford and while I was there, I met her next door neighbour Emma, who had not long started selling hand made jewellery. This made me think, was I clever enough to do something like this???
So when I got home, I thought about what I was going to make and how, and most important, where was I going to get the beads for a piece? I decided to look on Ebay and found that the stones on there own were not to bad as I first thought, so I bought a few items and started stringing gems together on some fishing wire and in the end I had a few pretty coloured bracelets. I gave them to my family for christmas and as far as I know they were very pleased.
Time passed and it was December 08 before I even thought about jewellery design again. As the job cuts were getting worse I started to think of things to do, to make a little bit of money just to help pay for things here and there but paying for the gems and silver did take alot of it and got back into the idea of making jewellery again. I made a bangle out of twisted wire after seeing somthing like it in a magazine. I wore it to a party that night and from there I had 6 more orders. I wanted to do more, So I made other things such as necklaces and bracelets, earings and so on. I took some into a near-by shop and to my complete shock they told me my work was stunning and was of amazing quality....
A bangle I made for a friend was featuredon a television program in which Claire Hickman appeared in. A TV programme called
'Psychic Academy' along side Tony Stockwell.
and another necklace I have made was seen on telly being worn by
Mariclare Carey-Jones in the ITV Wales News
I lost my job in June due to my Dyslexic Dysability so am currently unemployed, like so many people at this difficult time. I love making jewellery and want to do more. For what I make and how long it takes me, and the price you pay, is the price it costs to make as this is a hobby and nothing more!
On the 12th of August 2009 The Carmarthen Journal wrote an artical on Priceless Gemz, which I have to say was a fantastic piece, Then after the artical was releast I receaved a call from ITV Wales News presenter "Marieclaire" on the 13th of August asking could they come down to film an interview with me about Priceless Gemz. I was thrilled and could not wait to tell Wales all about
Priceless Gemz.
On the 17th of August 2009 the ITV Wales News interview was aired. It was a fantastic interview we were all so pleased. Since then I have receaved so much attention for Priceless Gemz and for the work I do.

Now my work can be found in so many pleaces and has been bought from as far away as Canada and the USA, plus all over the UK.
