Daniel Stuart Lovell Price 14/11/01
This is my eldest son Daniel who is now 8 years old.
It was taken just after his 5th birthday Fighting for his life! This was the only
way he could breath, because his left lung had collapsed completely,
laying like this was taking the pressure off his lungs.
He had Pneumococcal Meningitis, Pneumonia, Pleurisy and Empiema.
He is ok today, 3 years later but has permanent scaring on his lungs and is on a ventilator every morning and night for the rest of his life!
The best part was, he was aloud home a month later, just 3 days before Christmas Day, which was the best Christmas present any parent could ask for. We didn't have many presents for them because Stuart and I were in hospital almost the whole of December, so we were not able to go shopping, but Dans school,
Tavenspite CP School
had asked all the parents and teachers to donate money, and the school bought him a HUGE box of gifts. As you can imagine, we cried! Thank you so much
Harry Benjamin Price 11/02/10

Harry at 1 day old. He was on CPAP for 5 days, he was so poorly
and his weight dropped to 4lb 15oz. We have these items at home.
His cap, tube, his blood pressure arm band
and his first ever dummy. They are so tiny.
You can see the little puncture holes on his hand where the
IV had been put but it was then moved to his other hand. and he was
also being fed by tube, which you can see in the picture.

Harry at 2 days old in Special Care Baby Unit,
West Wales General Hospital, receiving Kangaroo Care,
being held by Daddy for the first time!
In this video, I'm kissing my 5 days old premature baby boy and hes cooing at me. Its makes me and everyone who watches it cry. You can hear all his machines beeping in the background. Hes now 7 months old and doing amazingly well. You can hear my elder 2 children Monica 11 and Daniel 8 in the background. Watch my other video and you'll see the amazing little angel he is now.....

Harry Price was ment to be born on the 23rd of March 2010 but was born by code red Emergency C-Section on the 11th of Feb 2010. He weighed an amazing 5lb 5oz, but could not keep breathing on his own and his heart kept stopping. He fought for 5 days to breathe by him self. He was taken off CPAP for an hour a day and this was when we got to hold him and do kangaroo care. Amazingly he was home 2 weeks later, just in time to celebrate my 30th birthday. I could not of asked for a better pressent. Thank you to all the nurses and sister in SCBU in West Wales General Hospital, you saved our little boys life. Thank you, we owe you ours xxxxx

And, This is Harry now, in his highchair for the first time at
7 Months old and a little small for his age but doing amazingly well :0)
